Bye-Bye Ranger, Hello Cyclone

A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE WE OPENED OUR DOORS IN 2003. Consumer behavior has radically been forever changed by mobile technology. In turn, the industry as a whole has changed with more brands and manufacturers offering consumer-direct purchasing options and more retailers launching omnichannels sales platforms.

We’ve changed too, growing both in scale and in maturity. Like many of our suppliers and customers, this year brought significant challenges for us. We're pleased to report we're still going strong, with a clear and renewed vision for our future.

We felt it was time to refresh our identity to represent this vision. Our new logo reflects our maturity and clarity, and you'll start to see it across all our branding, website, and collateral as we phase out that the entity we’ve come to call "The Ranger”.

The Ranger symbolized our knack for roaming the bike industry at large, rounding up great deals for our customers…Deals they can pass on to their customers. A bit of a maverick, the Ranger was both resourceful and scrappy. He also loved a strong mug of camp coffee to start his day.

The Ranger was a fun mascot, but we felt it was time to introduce the real people behind the scenes at Cyclone. Like most of our customers, the majority of us got into this industry because we love bikes. We love them so much, we’ve made bikes our business. So over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be introducing you to the real people who answer the phones, take your orders, and pick your product.

The Ranger may be gone, but we're still here, as strong as ever. The spirit of the Ranger lives on in each of us—in our work and in our passion for bike-powered adventures large and small.
