We heard a lot of folks talking about Orange Seal and we immediately jumped in to find out what all of the hubbub was all about. The new face in the sealant business, Orange Seal uses premium latex, “nanites” or solid particles that “clot” punctures, is completely biodegradable, and is proven to seal a puncture up to 1/4" (watch video here). This stuff really works!
We were pleased to welcome Jeff Zell and Mark Okada from Panaracer to our offices yesterday! Cyclone is Panaracer's newest distributor and the guys stopped by to check out the office and meet with our team. Along with them, we were honored to get a visit from Takashi Minoura and his agent Kenzo Masada from Minoura. Takashi is the third generation family President of Minoura and a true gentleman and we enjoyed his visit immensely! After meeting with our staff and touring our facility, our sales manager John Byfield took the entourage out on the streets of Portland for a personal visit with some of the local shops. The shops were intrigued to meet with the namesake of the legendary company, and Mr. Minoura thoroughly enjoyed checking out the Portland bike scene.
After mountain biking at Whistler, our Washington outside sales rep Nick Miller and I stopped off to see our friends at Race Face in Vancouver, BC. Race Face makes mostly mountain-focused cycling components. They are known for their high-end, CNC machined mountain cranks, chainrings, handlebars, stems and seatposts. In their almost 18 years of doing business, they have developed a strong brand and excellent reputation.
